FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: in the method a lift equipped with a weighing system is used to lift a load, which is weighed, and the value measured by the weighing system is recorded. In the method the weighing system is regulated according to the requirement, on the basis of recorded values. The real load, which is weighed in the fixed condition, is used as a load. The same real load is also weighed during normal motion in the fixed condition. Reference value is determined on the basis of these two weighing operations of one and the same real load, on the basis of which the weighing system is adjusted, if necessary, and/or accuracy possibly achieved by the weighing system is assessed.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and efficiency of weighing system control.
