SUBSTANCE: method of producing a superconductive cable comprised of the central tubular substrate made of metal and surrounded by at least one superconductive wire includes positioning at the tubular substrate of at least one elongation-resistant strand, which length is at least equal to the cable length, winding of the cable with strand at room temperature onto a coil with strand adjoined to inner surface of the substrate faced to the coil core, fixing of the strand on the cable at its both ends so that is cannot be shifted, unwinding the cable from the coil, placing of the unwound cable to a tubular cryostat and disconnecting the elongation-resistant strand from the cable at least at its ends before cooling down.
EFFECT: temperature-dependent change is cable length is eliminated.
