SUPERCONDUCTIVE ELECTRIC CABLE Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC H01B12/06

Abstract RU 2479055 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: superconductive electric cable has at least one superconductive conductor consisting of bands or wires that are wound in at least one layer onto the base (2) in the form of a tube. The tube (2) is designed so that to enable resilient deformation and has a slot (8), passing along the whole of its length and oriented in the longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: invention ensures compensation for the cable temperature-induced length variation in the simplest way.
