SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to biotechnology. Claimed method for increasing antagonistic activity of monoclonal antibody, containing human IgG1 constant region and aimed against specific target molecule, which includes modification of amino acid sequence of hinge region. In addition, method for screening antagonistic monoclonal antibody, based on application of method for increasing antagonistic activity by invention, monoclonal antibody, obtained by method in accordance with invention, and thereof coding nucleic acid are disclosed.
EFFECT: claimed invention makes it possible to modulate antigen-binding activity by alteration of only hinge region of constant antibody region.
