SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic data processing system with complementary resources. The electronic data processing system comprises a central module (30) and peripheral modules linked to the central module via electric supply and data lines, wherein the modules comprise: a processing unit (31, 61), a storage device (32, 62), an input/output unit (33, 63) and power line and data line insulation; wherein the central module further comprises an electric power supply unit (35) for the peripheral modules, a common module triggering unit and a "star"-type communication interface (34) with peripheral modules; wherein each peripheral module further comprises a serial interface (64) for connection with the communication interface of the central module.
EFFECT: providing an electronic data processing system architecture with fewer components.
