SUBSTANCE: invention relates to document management systems. The invention uses first and second extended programs which operate on a web browser. The first extended program displays a hierarchical folder structure managed by a document management server in a display area on the web browser, determines whether a pointing device overlaps with any folder displayed on the web browser based on mouse event information set by the web browser, and sets information about the folder overlapping with the pointing device in the web browser. The web browser stores folder information in a bridge data storage unit. The second extended program uploads the file to the folder identified by the folder information stored in the bridge data storage unit.
EFFECT: enabling to upload files managed by a file system of an operating system by executing a drag and drop operation.
