SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to water processing and can be used for remineralisation of desalinated water with calcium carbonate. Method for water remineralisation includes provision of supplied water with concentration of carbon dioxide in the range from 30 to 60 mg/l, provision of water suspension, containing micro-milled calcium carbonate, with calcium carbonate being characterised by particle size from 0.5 to 50 mcm, and concentration of calcium carbonate in suspension constituting from 2 to 20 wt % relative to the total suspension weight, combination of supplied water and water suspension.

EFFECT: inventions provide obtaining remineralised water with controlled, specified content of minerals, satisfying drinking water standards and not causing corrosion in its application.
