FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used for remineralisation of initial sweet water to reclaim minerals, particularly, calcium carbonate in pre-desalted water or that with insufficient amount of minerals at making of drinking water. Proposed process comprises the feed of green water, addition of gaseous carbon dioxide and suspension of finely-ground calcium carbonate to green water. Note here that calcium carbonate features particle size of 0.1 to 100 mcm and content of substances not soluble in HCl of 0.05 to 1.5 wt % per total weight of finely-ground calcium carbonate. Note also that calcium carbonate concentration in suspension makes 2-20 wt %.
EFFECT: making of reclaimed drinking water with required amount of minerals, lower corrosive properties, decreased overall dimensions of this system.
