FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: urea dosing system of the system of subsequent treatment of exhaust gases, and the system comprises: a mixing chamber having an inlet for urea, an inlet for gas and an outlet; the urea valve made with the ability to supply the urea solution to the inlet for urea; the gas flow channel extending from the gas inlet; a gas valve made with the ability to control flow of pressurized gas to the gas flow channel and the gas inlet; a pressure sensor made with the ability to measure pressure in a location downstream from the gas inlet and the inlet for urea; a controller operatively connected to the pressure sensor, a valve for urea and a gas valve. The controller is configured to actuate the valve for urea and the gas valve for supplying the combined flow from the urea solution and air to the outlet of the mixing chamber, evaluation of information on the pressure from the pressure sensor, which describes the pressure of the combined flow, closing the gas valve based on comparison of information on the pressure with the threshold pressure, actuation of the valve for urea for filling at least a part of the mixing chamber with the urea solution when the information on pressure is below the second threshold value, and opening the gas valve to displace the urea solution from the mixing chamber. The methods of controlling the system for supplying urea solution are also disclosed.

EFFECT: reduced growth of crystals of urea or deposits on the components of the system and leakage of urea.
