FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: supply system of fluid for exhaust systems of diesel engines or of another reducing agent is provided to an atomizer for injection into the system for further purification of engine exhaust gases. The atomizer contains an injector assembly that thermally protects the fluid for the exhaust systems of diesel engines from exhaust gas temperatures. Also, methods of supplying liquid for exhaust systems of diesel engines for cooling the injector prior to operation of the atomizer are provided to reduce emissions.
EFFECT: reduced toxicity of exhaust gases.
