FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for rendering an acoustic signal. Multichannel signals are received, including at least one signal of an input high-altitude channel. The first parameters of lifting rendering for multichannel signals are received. A delayed signal of the input high-altitude channel is received by applying a pre-determined delay to a signal of the input high-altitude channel. A signal tab of the input high-altitude channel is one of tags of frontal high-altitude channels. The second parameters of lifting rendering are received based on the signal tag of the input high-altitude channel and tags of two signals of output channels. The specified tags of two signals of output channels are tags of surround sound channels. By means of lifting rendering, multichannel signals and the delayed signal of the input high-altitude channel are converted to output a set of signals of output channels based on the first parameters of lifting rendering and the second parameters of lifting rendering.
EFFECT: reduction in the distortion of the received audio image.
