SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shock-absorbing and energy absorbing systems and methods. The opposite-plug-in cellular shock-absorbing system contains a first sheet of elastic material, including a first binding layer and first array of empty cells, projecting from the first binding layer, each of them has a wall, and second sheet of elastic material, including a second binding layer and second array of empty cells, projecting from the second binding layer, each of them has a wall, wherein the walls of the second array of empty cells differ from the walls of the first array of empty cells, wherein the empty cells are made with the possibility of monotonous compression under load, and peak of each empty cell in the first array is in contact with the second binding layer, and peak of each empty cell in the second array is in contact with the first binding layer, wherein the empty cell in the first array is secured to the second binding layer, and the empty cell in the second array is secured to the first binding layer.
EFFECT: invention ensures effective shock-absorbing and impact protection.
