FIELD: heating; fuel.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fuel cell unit in which the fuel cell is built into a composite layered structure. According to the invention, the fuel cell unit contains a fuel cell built into a composite layered structure which contains core material, inside of which is embedded the said fuel cell. The fuel cell contains an electrolytic membrane with first and second front surfaces and first and second electrodes adjoining the respective front surfaces of the electrolytic membrane. The first and second electrodes are connected to an electrical circuit. The material of the core provides a support for the embedded fuel cell and flow communication through the core material, providing the possibility of one or more fluid media passing to the first and second electrodes.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics.
