FIELD: physics, photography.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a recording material from which images with photographic quality can be obtained using electrophotographic printing methods. The recording material comprises a paper base coated with synthetic resin on both sides and at least one toner-receiving layer arranged on the synthetic resin layer, wherein the toner-receiving layer contains a water-soluble or water-dispersible binder, a finely dispersed inorganic pigment and an antistatic active component. The finely dispersed inorganic pigment has an average particle size of 10 nm to 200 nm and a BET surface area of 10 m2/g to 400 m2/g.
EFFECT: with the present recording material, when using both liquid and dry toner, images can be obtained, having an appearance and haptic characteristics comparable with silver halide photographs.
