FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to catalyst and method for thereof obtaining, as well as to method for olefin epoxidation with catalyst application. Catalyst contains binding agent and titanium silicate, with binding agent being amorphous silicon dioxide, said titanium silicate has MFI topology, and crystalline titanium silicate seed has hollow structure with radius of cavities 5-300 nm, wherein adsorption capacity for benzene, measured for titanium silicate under conditions 25°C, P/P0 = 0.10 and adsorption time 1 hour, constitutes not less than 70 mg/g, and adsorption-desorption isotherms contain hysteresis loop for nitrogen adsorption with molecular sieve under low temperature; wherein content of binding substance constitutes 3-15 wt %, content of titanium silicate constitutes 85-97 wt % of the total catalyst quantity; and catalyst has compressive strength value not less than 60 N/cm, measured in accordance with GB3635-1983 standard.
EFFECT: catalyst in accordance with the claimed invention has high strength and demonstrates high catalytic activity in olefin epoxidation.
