SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and concerns a method of treating a patient suffering a disorder characterised by high blood low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and diagnosed with the above disease; the method involves administering an initial dose of an anti-proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexine type 9 antagonist antibody to the patient; and administering a number of the following doses of the antibody to the patient in an amount, which is approximately the same or less than the initial dose. The group of inventions also concerns a product for treating a disorder characterised by high blood LDL-C, comprising a container, a composition in the container, containing the anti-PCSK9 antagonist antibody, and a product insert containing anti-PCSK9 antagonist antibody application instructions.
