Abstract RU 2576089 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions involves versions of the training device for underwater spine extension and versions of the method of underwater spinal traction, refers to medicine, particularly to medical equipment, and can be used in healthcare facilities equipped with basin or open water, under the supervision of trained medical personnel or independently. Training apparatus according to one version of the invention comprises a floating hull with frame 2 connected with mesh support 1 for patient's body, as well as device in the form of a bra and belt 5 and 6, respectively, which via flexible links 8 through the means of their tension 4 are connected to the frame 2. Simulator in another version of the invention also comprises accessories in the form of a bra and belt 5 and 6 respectively and connected to them by means of flexible length-adjustable tie rods 8. Proposed method is characterised by the gradual growth of load and duration of staying in water, reaching 10:00 a day in two stages, as well as activities in the form of various kinds of swimming activities during the procedure of spinal traction due to use one of said simulators or both simulators in series.
