FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: sensing element of an oxygen partial pressure sensor includes a solid-electrolyte plate, a sealing ceramic plate, a ceramic space placed between the solid-electrolyte plate and the sealing ceramic plate, a reference electrode with a wire output comprised of a mixture of metal and metal oxide, an operating electrode placed at the surface of the solid-electrolyte plate opposite to the reference electrode. The solid-electrolyte plate is made with two reference electrodes; the spacer is made as a ceramic plate with two openings forming two cavities sealed hermetically from each other and the environment. At that different mixtures of metal and metal oxide having different oxide formation entropy are charged to each cavity.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of temperature measurement in an electrochemical cell and reduced measurement error for oxygen partial pressure and improved vibration strength of the oxygen sensor.
