SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer systems for imaging porous rocks. Disclosed is a method of building a model of a sample of a porous medium. The method includes a step of receiving low-resolution image data generated using measurement with a lower resolution, performed on a first sample of the porous medium. Further, the method includes receiving high-resolution image data representing characteristics of aspects of a small second sample of the porous medium, wherein high-resolution data are generated using measurement with a higher resolution, performed on the small second sample.

EFFECT: high accuracy of data segmentation when building a model of a sample of a porous medium.
