FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for cleaning a crankcase gas from an internal combustion engine comprises a centrifugal rotor capable of rotating around the axis of rotation and adapted to clean the crankcase gas in a separation chamber. The centrifugal rotor comprises the drive shaft which extends into the drive chamber of the apparatus, wherein a turbine is connected to the drive shaft and a nozzle is arranged to receive a liquid under pressure from the internal combustion engine and direct the liquid under pressure in a jet from the nozzle opening towards the turbine for the rotation of the centrifugal rotor. The apparatus includes the adapter which enables to mount the apparatus on an internal combustion engine. The adapter comprises a bearing surface adjoining the corresponding bearing surface of the internal combustion engine. The bearing surface of the adapter has the opening for a drive liquid, which is configured to receive a compressed liquid from a feed opening in the bearing surface of the internal combustion engine. The adapter has the channel for the drive liquid which links the opening for the drive liquid with the nozzle. The nozzle is integrated with the adapter with the cone-shaped nozzle channel which tapers downstream towards the nozzle opening, wherein the nozzle opening is situated at a distance of 0.5-5 mm from the turbine.
