FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a centrifugal separator for separating the liquid phase from crankcase internal combustion gases. Centrifugal separator is arranged to separate the liquid phase from the crankcase gases of the internal combustion engine and comprises a separator chamber, a rotor shaft passing through the separator chamber, a rotor connected to the rotor shaft inside the separator chamber, a crankcase inlet, a gas outlet and a liquid outlet for the separated liquid phase. Centrifugal separator also comprises a liquid discharge chamber, a check valve and a rotating member. Liquid discharge chamber forms a separate chamber and is in fluid communication with the separator chamber through a liquid channel. Rotating member is connected to the rotor shaft and is mounted inside the liquid discharge chamber, the liquid outlet forming an outlet from the liquid discharge chamber. In this case, the control valve is installed in the liquid outlet.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of ensuring equalization of pressure between the drive and separator chambers.
