FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in this method for control of transient electromechanical processes in electric energy systems by changing electric power generated by generators in the electric energy system during transient process according to the invention change in electric power generated by generators is carried out by introduction into circuit of the electric energy system of auxiliary elements represented by resistors and energy storage units coupled through electronic switching units, which ensure change in time as per preset law of values of consumed and generated active power in the above elements thus implementing preset motion patterns for generator rotors selected on conditions of stable dynamic transfer and optimized transient process.
EFFECT: reduced damage for consumers at occurrence of emergency disturbance in electric energy systems, stable dynamic process in electric energy systems is provided at minimum scope of used control actions.
