FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for drying (frying) of loose materials and can be applied in chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries, as well as in other fields of industrial production. Dryer for loose materials has rectangular section cabinet containing upper and lower sections, closed with doors; sections are connected in left part via air duct, and in right part via gas-distributing grid. In right part of upper section, rotor is installed upon gas-distributing grid, while grid is made in circular form. Dryer comprises hopper with strain gauges and cooler; rotor is made two-blade with distance between blades equal to discharge zone width. Gas-distribution grid has two radial zones, drying zone, and unloading zone; left and right parts of upper section are separated by grid, and heat exchanger is connected to upper section via pipe.
EFFECT: technical task of invention is expansion of functional capabilities of drier.
