FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: equipment for drying and cooling bulk materials used in the sugar industry for drying and cooling granulated sugar before packaging. The sugar drying department with a heat pump unit includes a drum dryer and a fluidized bed sugar cooling unit. The department is additionally equipped with a heat pump unit, consisting of an air evaporator for recycling the heat of the removed air from the drum dryer, a liquid evaporator for collecting heat from the heat exchange surfaces of a fluidized bed sugar cooling unit, a regenerative heat exchanger, a compressor, pipelines with refrigerant, a condenser that transfers heat through the reheating a heat exchanger for the air before it is supplied to the drum dryer, as well as two temperature control valves for directionally changing the heating temperature of the air before entering the drum dryer and the cooling temperature of the liquid circulating through the liquid evaporator to cool the air before it is fed into the fluidized bed sugar cooling unit, wherein air evaporator, liquid evaporator, regenerative heat exchanger, compressor, condenser and expansion valves are connected in series with circulating refrigerant pipelines.
EFFECT: by returning the reclaimed heat from the exhaust air, reducing its costs for drying and cooling, and reducing the temperature of cooled sugar to standard values.
