FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to safety of buried pipelines and is designed for prevention of cut-ins, installation of explosives, transferred fluid leaks imitators for misinforming of the security service and for detection of fluid leaks. Claimed process comprises the analysis of summed signal from elastic torsion detectors mounted on both sides of the pipeline aimed at defining of the availability of the components of intruder steps and the number of intruders. Given said available data, defined is the minimum possible time of the access to the pipeline by the team of intruders of revealed force. Simultaneously, generated are the envelopes of energy and density of the summed signal zero crossing to make the decision at their standard level overshoot for said minimum possible time of access to the pipeline.

EFFECT: higher reliability of detection.
