METHOD FOR DETECTING UNAUTHORIZED IMPACT ON PIPELINE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N29/04

Abstract RU 2676386 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: using to detect unauthorized impacts on the pipeline. Summary of invention is thatexcite the pipeline with probing periodic vibration impulses, form exemplary levels of signals that mimic unauthorized effects, and decide on the results of the comparison of accumulated signals, received from equidistant points on opposite sides of the probing site of the pipeline, while the differential signal is obtained by comparing the signals previously converted into spectra of frequencies from equidistant points, the mentioned reference levels are formed in the form of confidence intervals in the previously selected frequency ranges of the working spectrum with reference to a certain type of unauthorized exposure, and the decision on the detection of the latter and on its form is made by entering the spectrum of the difference accumulated signal into the corresponding confidence interval.

EFFECT: providing the ability to detect and identify the type of unauthorized exposure with great certainty.
