FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal nanopowders using gaseous deoxidizing agents. Double-drum furnace contains mounted one above another angular rotating upper and lower drums, each having a steel pipe. Around the external surface of pipe of drum and partially around external surface of lower drum the heat-insulating linings are installed, the last ones have spiral with heating spirals. On part of outer surface of pipe of the lower drum, free from lining, there is a protective casing of cooling system. Input head of upper drum is connected to powder material dosing unit, and the outlet head is connected with discharge tunnel and nitrogen and hydrogen supply pipes. Inside the pipe of upper drum there are first brush, the second brush and cylindrical insert with rectangular projections. Input head of the lower drum is connected with discharge tunnel and nitrogen and hydrogen supply pipes, and the output head - with finished product hopper.
EFFECT: production of metal of preset particle size.
