FIELD: mining industry; for crushing ores and non-metallic raw materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding of material together with water into ring-shaped crushing zone from the top, volumetric compression of the material in the crushing zone, friction grinding of material particles against each other with simultaneous impulse excitation of the particles at the moment of their deformation and destruction by high-temperature liquid flow, superheated steam or hot air, mixing of crushed product with cold water and removal of pulp from below. Impulse excitation of the particles is performed simultaneously with supplying oily and surface-active substances. Mill intended for processing materials has working chamber 1, rotor 2 mounted on vertical shaft 3, filling appliance 4 and discharge appliance 5. The rotor is made in the form of straight hollow cone 12 with water feed pipe 16 and steam-and-gas feed pipe 17. Mounted on horizontal part of pipe 17 is device intended for metered feed of oily and surface-active substances. EFFECT: high effectiveness of crushing operation and improved quality of final product. 3 cl, 3 dwg
