FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for surgical treatment of initial primary open-angle glaucoma. Non-penetrating deep sclerectomy is performed, opening of the external wall of Schlemm's canal. Viscoelastic is introduced into the gaps formed in series. Implanted on both sides of trabecular Descemet's membrane into the lumen of the Schlemm's canal at one drainage. Stent is used as drainage. Drainage is made of hydrophilic acrylic material in the form of a flat ring segment arc length 180 degrees, with cross section of 200×250 mcm, with outer radius 6.6-6.7 mm and inner radius 6.4-6.5 mm. On outer and inner surface of each of the stent-drain staggered semicircular groove radius 0.1 mm, arranged in one row on each of the surfaces, the recess on one surface are arranged in staggered order relative to grooves on the opposite surface. Three quarter of each of the stent-drainages are placed in a lumen of the Schlemm's canal, and the remaining quarter of the inserted under the superficial scleral flap, which fixes two relaxative sutures.
EFFECT: method ensures evident and prolonged hypotensive effect of operation.
