FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves removing external wall of Schlemm's canal all along deep scleral flap base length. Descemet membrane area adjacent to trabecula is exposed. Viscoelastic material mixed with porous polymer microdrainage particles is introduced into Schlemm's canal lumen via syringe cannula. The number of microdrainage particles is not to be less than two. The microdrainage size is not greater than 0.3 mm. Volume proportion of microdrainage to viscoelastic material is equal to 1:1 to 1:200.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in dilating venous sinus of sclera; prevented Schlemm's canal blockage; high hypotensive action.
