FIELD: radar and navigation.
SUBSTANCE: method for radar stealthiness of military aircraft is designed to provide discreetness of aircraft irradiated by radar. It consists in making aircraft surfaces reflecting radar pulses aside the radar, as well as in coating these surfaces with multilayer materials having slots in metal surfaces coated with radio transparent composite materials and cavities inside. Directly under these slots in the metal surface inclined chamfers are made in order to guide entrapping radar pulses into cavities comprising partitions that damp radar pulses.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of radar stealthiness of military aircraft.
