FIELD: military equipment, applicable in development of technical aids for training of crews of antiaircraft systems. SUBSTANCE: universal air target simulator has a rocket engine and a nose cone accommodating lens and corner reflectors. The lens reflector has the shape of sphere with a diameter of at least 0.8 caliber made of radioparent material with a dielectric constant of 3 to 4; at least 90% of the area of the lens reflector rear surface is bonded. The corner reflectors are made in the form of cross-shaped members with transverse diaphragms spaced at 4 to 6 of the radiating radar wave length, furnished with a conducting coating and radioparent fairing. Besides, the simulator is furnished with a thermal radiator positioned in a housing with a diameter not exceeding 0.7 caliber with radial ports, and located behind the lens reflector. EFFECT: simulation of actual targets in speed, flight path, effective dispersion area and thermal radiation. 3 dwg
