FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: DC power unit (9-1) contains the first device (17) of current interlocking, made with the possibility to ensure current flow in the first direction (19-1) via (17) the first current interlocking device, and interlocking of the current flowing in the second direction (19-2) opposite to the first direction (19-1). The first direction is the direction of the current flow during the normal operation of a DC power network. The DC power unit (9-1) additionally contains the first switching unit (21), located in opposite-parallel connection with the first current interlocking device (17), that is controlled in its open state for the selective assurance of the reverse current flow during the normal operation of the DC power network via the first switching unit (21) in the second direction (19-2) such, that to bypass the first current interlocking device (17), and in a closed state to interlock current in the second direction (19-2), when a fault in the DC power network occurs.

EFFECT: assurance of power unit protection against fault upon circuit breaker decreasing.
