FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: spatula relates to devices designed for the application of materials onto surfaces and their further levelling. A spatula for the application of mortars onto surfaces includes a working plate, having two large sides, two large edges, a working edge and a connecting edge opposite to the working edge; a reinforcing plank having two large sides, two side ribs, a connection rib, which is connected to the connecting edge of the working plate, and a rib opposite to the connecting rib; a handle connected to the large side of the reinforcing plank, perpendicular to the plane of the reinforcing plank and plane of the working plate.
EFFECT: invention provides for an increased efficiency, quality of work and simplified process of operation by the reduction of load at the wrist and the hand of the user; and also provides for the convenience of use due to the natural position of the hand when the spatula is used.
