SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fiber application head for making elements from composite materials that serves to apply fibers on wide tape surface, Proposed head comprises fiber tape application roller, means to direct fibers to said roller and means including cutting plates actuated by drive systems to displace between initial and working positions to cute fiber ahead of fiber application roller. Said cutting plates and appropriate drive systems are located on roller side with respect to said fibers.
EFFECT: reliability in cutting, varying direction and/or locking.
