FIELD: thermal metering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal metering and can be used when calibrating heat flux sensors. Method of calibrating thermoelectric heat flow sensor comprises measuring intrinsic electric resistance of heat flow sensor during transmission of alternating current from 1 to 20 mA, measuring thermoelectric q-factor is when transmitting direct current from 1 to 20 mA, and then determining sensitivity of thermoelectric sensor using following expression:

Se - thermoelectric sensor sensitivity;

ACR - intrinsic resistance of thermoelectric sensor;

Z - thermoelectric q-factor of sensor;

s - area of sensitive surface of thermoelectric sensor;

α - seebeck coefficient (thermal efm) of thermocouple;

2N - number of thermocouples or junctions in thermoelectric sensor.

EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy of obtained data.
