FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical-physical measurements and concerns the method of non-destructive quality control of the thermal contact of a thermoelectric module. Control is performed by determining the presence/absence of air cavities in its structure by the method of spectroscopic ellipsometry. Method includes ellipsometric parameters spectra measuring Ψ and Δ by the area of the thermoelectric module. Number of measurement points is equal to or multiples of the number of thermocouples in the module. Further, an analysis of the measured data is performed on the basis of an ellipsometric model including the layers of the metal contact of the thermoelement, the air gap, the ceramic heat conductor, the thermal conductive layers, the thicknesses and optical constants of these layers, determine the thicknesses of the layers of the heat conducting layer including the paste, enamel or sealant and air gap. By the values of the obtained thickness values, a conclusion is made about the degree of quality of the thermal contact, characterized by the presence/absence of air cavities in the local areas between the ceramic heat pipe and the fuser fuses.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of quality control of the thermal contact between the ceramic heat pipe and the junctions of the thermoelectric battery.
