SUBSTANCE: device for pre-sowing treatment of seed material comprises a working body, a drive mechanism, a metering hopper, an unloading chute, a grinding drum with an unloading window, the working body is made of rods-rolls which are not interconnected, each of which is made at least from one strip folded along straight lines, disposed at an angle to the strip edges. And the strip is rolled into cylindrical coils to form the helical lines along the outer and inner surface, as well as curved helical surfaces with the centres of curvature of the pockets disposed inside the cross-section of the rods-rolls in the form of pockets of the inner surface of the semicircular shape. Moreover, the distance between the fold lines are equal to each other and equal to the sum of the lengths of the perimeters of the geometric shapes of pockets of the inner surface, and each of the rods-rolls is coated with a layer of rubber and is provided on both sides with trunnions which are able to roll on feeler gauges mounted inside the grinding drum, and the diameter of the trunnions is greater the maximum diameter of the rods-rolls.

EFFECT: device enables to expand its technological capabilities and to improve productivity.
