SUBSTANCE: phalangeal endoprosthesis comprises a central portion made of flexible material with an internal cavity, and endosseous retainers made of porous inert material. Between a flexible portion of the prosthesis and a rigid carbon coating, a flexible intermediate layer containing carbon nanotubes is created.
EFFECT: prevented cracking of the carbon layer in flexion deformations generated between the flexible portion of the prosthesis.
