FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of walls elements of sheets and comprises the steps that follow. Wall element length and width are determined. Workpiece of a metal sheet is made of preset depth and has two lengthwise edges of preset length and two crosswise edges of preset edges. Note here that a definite size field extends along every lengthwise and crosswise edge to make two opposed lengthwise edge sections and two opposed crosswise edge sections with the edge preset width. Note here that the size of the short side edge of the lengthwise and crosswise end sections complies with the edge width. Both lengthwise edge sections are cut parallel with the crosswise edge nearby every short side edge to get two cuts the length smaller than the edge width. This is done to make two tabs on every lengthwise edge section separated by said cut from the other part of the lengthwise edge section that feature a definite size. The strip of said other part is bent at the right angle parallel with the lengthwise edge. Note here that said strip features the maximum width complying with the cut length less the material depth. Tabs are bent at the right angle parallel with the lengthwise edge level with the base of appropriate cut. The lengthwise edge lengthwise end sections are bent at the right angle. Crosswise end sections are bent at the right angle parallel with the crosswise edge to get the strip, its width corresponding to the crosswise size of the tabs. The crosswise end sections are bent at the right angle along crosswise edge. Invention discloses also the production of both wall elements and wall element thus made.
EFFECT: higher twisting stiffness.
