SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Press (100) comprises shears (6) for cutting strip rear end precisely along the plane orthogonal to pressing axis (X). Higher cutting accuracy and quality of cut surface is ensured by the fact that cutting is performed with the help of stands (9′, 9′′) and with the help of sliding guides (13′, 13′′) so that shears (6) can move and be installed in different positions on pressing axis (X) at different stages of pressing to perform cutting and for installation in a fixed position in which it is easy to replace container (3).
EFFECT: higher cutting accuracy and quality of cut surface.
