FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics, namely to contact-free input of electric energy from one radio-electronic device to other radio-electronic device. Method of underwater charging of underwater self-contained apparatus battery is carried out using secondary transformer winding, which is located in forepart of underwater vehicle, and primary winding of transformer, which is located at bottom charging device, having toroidal body installed on its housing. Underwater self-contained apparatus forepart, under which secondary winding of transformer is hidden and is introduced into toroidal body of bottom charging device with matching transformer windings. Autonomous underwater vehicle battery is charged, at that contact surfaces of self-contained underwater apparatus and toroidal body are made of radiotransparent material
EFFECT: technical result is provision of long-term independence of autonomous underwater vehicle operation.
