FIELD: electrochemical protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical protection and is used to determine potential of electrochemical protection on sections of extended underwater pipeline. Power supply source of the device is an element arranged in the housing for receiving electric power from the device for contactless transmission of electric power, which is connected to the electric energy accumulator. Electric power accumulator is connected to electronic control unit tightly installed in the housing. Besides, the control unit is connected to the comparison electrode installed in the housing, an electromagnetic radiator and a tight cable lead for connection to the underwater protected object.

EFFECT: reduced labor intensity of servicing the device.
