SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel-power complex, in particular, to method of transportation of liquefied natural gas at considerable distances from source to consumer. Method of transporting gas in liquefied state involves preparation of commercial gas, adiabatic expansion of gas with reduction of its temperature to transfer gas into liquefied state, including formation of values of input gas pressure and temperature in compliance with dependence of change of gas pressure and temperature in adiabatic expansion to provide near-critical state of gas to input into gas line, pressure gradient of pressure along route of gas pipeline and heat insulation of walls of pipeline for maintenance of stable temperature conditions.

EFFECT: technical result-increase of transported gas flow density owing to use near-critical area pressure and temperature in changing of natural gas in liquefied state.
