FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a diagnostic technique for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, involving analysing patient's saliva, differing by the fact that a patient's saliva drop is added with a drop of the crystal-forming substance - 3% alcohol copper chloride; the produced preparation is kept for 24 hours in a horizontal position at temperature 20-25°C, humidity 50-70%, away from direct sunlight and heating appliances and examined under the microscope; presence and intensity of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis is detected by a presence and amount of amorphous dark-yellow mass overlaying the broom- or beam-shaped crystals in the microscopic preparation, whereas absence of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis is indicated by the broom- or beam-shaped crystals with no amorphous dark-yellow mass overlaid.
EFFECT: implementing the invention enables the fast non-invasive diagnosis of steatohepatitis.
