METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF HEPATOTROPHIC THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH NON-ALCOHOLIC FATTY LIVER DISEASE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N33/48

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely hepatology, and concerns a method for prediction of effectiveness of hepatotrophic therapy in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Proposed method consists in fact that in patients with NAFLD recovering DNA from venous blood leukocytes and polymerase chain reaction using standard pairs of primers with subsequent determination of length of end sections of peripheral blood leukocyte chromosomes. If derived values of this value are below reference, positive effect is predicted to hepatotrophic therapy in one month after its beginning. At reference values of end sections of chromosome positive effect is predicted to hepatotrophic therapy in three months after its beginning. If this value is more than reference, absence of efficiency to hepatotrophic therapy in patients is predicted.

EFFECT: use of method enables higher accuracy, sensitivity and specificity prediction of effectiveness of hepatotrophic therapy in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
