FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrophysics, specifically to electric arc devices for producing low-temperature plasma (plasma guns). Three-phase electric arc plasmatron comprises three axisymmetric circular chamber, combined general mixing chamber equipped with nozzle and working gas supply header. Each arc chamber comprises a cylindrical electrode, a cover, confuser, electromagnetic coil, main and extra swirlers for tangential feed of working gas. Plasmatron comprises a distribution device connected via pipelines on one side with working gas supply header, other side with additional swirlers arc chambers. Distributing device is made with possibility of smooth change of flow of gas fed into additional swirlers arc chambers.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of electrode erosion and, consequently, prolonging its service life.
