FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: circular insulator connected between hollow copper electrode (2) and nozzle (11) is tightly adjoined with key vortex (18) and ring water header (9). Kay (18) and end-plate (16) vortexes through gas flow redistribution valves (19, 20) are connected with gas supply duct (15). Solenoid (4) is in-built in steel cylindrical sleeve one end face of which tightly adjoins insert terminal (6), while and the other end face of sleeve adjoins dielectric casing (1). Insert terminal (6) has formed through holes connected with cavity formed by walls of electrode (2) and cylindrical sleeve (5). Axes of adjacent through holes of insert terminal (6) are angled 60-70° to each other in a projection to plane passing through longitudinal axis of plasmatron. Solenoid (4) is made of number of parallel coils of copper isolated wire output ends of which are soldered circularly in regular intervals to insert terminal (6).

EFFECT: higher productivity, reliability and efficiency of plasma-arc cutting device.
