FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of vacuum-tube devices, namely to production of high-frequency packet moderating systems of spiral type for travelling-wave tubes. Method of making high-frequency packet of moderating system connection between the spiral with metal coating and support ceramic rods occurs in solid phase and is performed due to pressure on spiral and ceramic rods, which is created by difference in coefficients of thermal expansion rings of mandrel and rods made of stainless steel at heating unit in vacuum, heating temperature should be lower than that of metal coating spiral.
EFFECT: technical result is increase of reliability of connection of spiral with support rods without formation of fillets and etching, which allows providing effective heat removal from spiral due to improved thermal contact of spiral-bearing rods.
