FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: claimed engine control device incorporates the exhaust gas cleaner arranged in the exhaust channel and burner arranged therein ahead of said cleaner to up the temperature of exhaust gases forced into the cleaner. This device increases the oxygen concentration in exhaust gases forced into the burner in case said oxygen concentration does not exceed the preset required oxygen concentration and if the request for the burner activation does exist. Claimed control process comprises the first control parameters for limitation of operation of the auxiliary device actuated by the ICE.
EFFECT: stable combustion intensity at predefined minimum level.
